Loan Originator

The Loan Officer will be your main point of contact.  He/she will walk you through the entire loan process.  Don’t hesitate to call your loan officer with any questions or concerns.

Processor

Your personal Processor will collect and verify conditions for the borrower.  They do this through different programs and websites.  Their purpose is to catch any problems so that they may be resolved before the file is sent to the underwriter. 

Underwriter

The Underwriter is responsible for reviewing the file to make sure the loan structure is solid.  With their nod of approval the file is then sent to the Closer. 

Closer
 
In this stage the borrower’s loan is almost at its completion.  The Closer writes up the closing documents, schedules the closing and wires funds to the title company.
